Welcome to Cribs-Boston!

I am totally livin’ large with my recent upgrade to a real grown up apartment. I can actually stand up in the whole damn thing, including my WALK-IN CLOSET. Those of you who had the pleasure of spending time in my old pad will appreciate this glorious change in ceiling space. Murphy and Smashworth—I am specifically talking to YOUs.

I told me mum that I would post some pics, so if you are interested, you can totally take a peek too. This may be the only time that some of you will ever see my bedroom other than in your dreams…or unless you have to get to the kitchen or the bathroom—because you have to walk through my bedroom in order to get to those destinations. But who cares when you’ve got a WALK-IN CLOSET?!?

Please don’t judge the amount of IKEA furniture that you see before you—I am just doing my part (as we all should) to keep Sweden afloat…and it makes me feel “legit” when I get to put my own furniture together.

So please step into my crib, y’all, and I’ll point out some of the most important features.

Here is my very motley living room. The pictures are straight in real life, even though they look all skeewampus here.

My boudoir. Clearly, I am HEAVY into geometry. Ma, this is the quilt I told you about.
Yes, I still have a twin bed, people. Go ahead and snicker.
The Kitchen. I have so much more room in which to make shakes and soup.
Murphy is so pissed about the cruel irony of our kitchen situation.
My favorite thing in the kitchen is my collage of family and friends.
It seriously makes me smile every time I look at it.
The necessities: black-and-white checkered bathroom floor, and Bruce Springsteen shrine.
The WALK-IN CLOSET!!!!! It's a work-in-progress.
Sorry I don't have any pics. of the laundry room, but I am sure you can imagine it...think "basement chic".
The end.
