Great Quotes from My Lovely Students...
Some of you have seen some of these already, but I told me mum that I would post these up here. Plus, I think that these particular quotes deserve to be immortalized.

*mistakes were in the original*
“When I’m older, I want my name to represent a mom, a daughter, a sister, a cheerleader, and a special victums* unit investigator*.” ~ Sam, 9H/ ‘04-‘05
“The summer had begun like any other summer. School was out and I had 3 months of freedom ahead of me. This summer was different, though. The hot dogs tasted a little sweeter, the sand was a little less hot, and the pool water was a little warmer. I was in love and everyone could see it. But as the summer ended, so did his love, his care, and his sanity.” ~ Katie, 10AP/’04-‘05
Another gem from a student: "Another thing that I really hate is testes." ~ Judy, 10AP/ '04-'05
This one broke my heart, but it is still a great quote from one of my Albanian students: “The thing that really hurt me was one time when I was in middle school. All the kids used to make great fun of me because I have always* sweaty hands. So my palms sweat all the time, so sue me! It is not like I smell or something.” Loren~ 10S/’04-‘05
“So sue me!” Where do they learn this stuff?
Classic quote from one of my ESL students. He was talking about his friend, Chris, I think??? “Christ became a much more open-minded person when he goes* to Europe. He learn* to find himself.” Brian, 10S/’04-‘05
Apparently all Christ needed was a backpacking trip across Europe to get in touch with his inner self.
To be continued....
